DPhi Space took a major step forward in space technology this Saturday with the launch of its Clustergate-1 aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. The Swiss engineering startup, backed by Venture Kick and ranked among the TOP 100 Swiss Startups, is working to simplify and reduce the cost of space access.
The Clustergate-1 platform, carried on D-Orbit's ION satellite carrier and now circling the Earth at 7 km/s, demonstrates DPhi Space's modular approach to satellite payload integration. By allowing multiple sensors, antennas, and cameras to share a single satellite, the Engineering startup aims to optimize satellite resources while lowering operational costs.

As part of this mission, the Venture Kick logo has been added to the Clustergate panel, meaning it's now touring the Earth. Supported by supported by Venture Kick, Kickfund, and ESA BIC Switzerland, DPhi Space will further showcase its technology at the upcoming Venture Leaders Technology roadshow in Silicon Valley from April 6 to 11.
