Sino-Swiss Pitchinar – Venture Leaders China meet China’s innovative Guangdong Region

Venturelab joined forces with the Chinese Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC) and the Guangdong region – China’s economically strongest region contributing around 11% of the total GDP and known for the innovation and technology hubs such as Shenzhen and Guangzhou – to build an exchange between the Venture Leaders China and the Chinese counterparts.

Over 2100 participants joined the online Sino-Swiss Pitchinar alongside our 10 Venture Leaders China, 10 promising Chinese Startups in the area of Biotech, Medtech, Agritech, Foodtech  and Cleanteach as well as Investors and subject matter experts coming from institutions such as the South China University of Technology, Guangdong Medical Valley or Guangdong’s Pharmaceutical University. 

After the opening speeches by the Deputy Directors General from the Chinese Minsitry of Science and Technology, the China Science and Technology Exchange Center and the Guangdong Province Department of Science and Technology, Switzerland’s Consul General to  Guanzhou welcomed both Swiss and Chinese Startups to “this exchange between Chinese and Swiss Companies to facilitate international expansion” in the 70th year of bilateral relations on innovation between China and Switzerland.



The Venture Leaders China pitched their innovative businesses to an interested and highly specialized expert panel and also learned about the participating Chinese startups and their innovative tech-solutions.
