A panel of investor and industry experts has selected ten innovative Swiss tech startups to join the Swiss National Startup Team. These companies will take part in the Venture Leaders Technology 2025 program, a unique opportunity to expand their networks and business knowledge during a roadshow in Silicon Valley this April. The program, designed to boost international growth, is organized by Venturelab in cooperation with DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, Unicorn Anchor, and the Canton of Vaud.
Since 2006, Venturelab has been selecting the Swiss National Startup Team. Through its Venture Leaders roadshows, entrepreneurs engage with top experts, investors, and potential customers in leading global tech hubs such as Silicon Valley, Boston, Asia, Barcelona, Munich, and London.
After reviewing almost 200 applications, a jury of investors and tech experts handpicked ten startups to participate in the 2025 Venture Leaders Technology roadshow in Silicon Valley. The roadshow provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their startups' expansion in the US while expanding their professional network and profiting from pitch sessions with investors and workshops with industry leaders.

The Venture Leaders program highlights Switzerland’s strong presence in the global tech startup scene. The ten selected startups showcase the country’s leadership in a wide array of fields, such as secure communications, satellite optimization, AI-powered productivity tools, and next-generation sensing technologies.
"The startups in the Venture Leaders Technology program are doing impressive work, and the Silicon Valley roadshow is a key step forward," highlights Stefan Steiner, Co-Managing Director at Venturelab. "By connecting with investors and industry experts, the startups gain unparalleled access to the US market and key business insights to help them raise capital and grow globally." Roberto Iannone, CEO of Zoundream and Team Captain of Venture Leaders Technology 2024 confirms this statement: “Fantastic exposure to the Silicon Valley ecosystem, investor contacts and people - all condensed in just one week. Absolutely valuable for any Swiss startup that wants to go big!”
This year's Venture Leaders Technology participants join an impressive group of alumni, including startups such as Lemoptix and Composyt Light Labs (acquired by Intel), Faceshift (acquired by Apple), HouseTrip (acquired by TripAdvisor), Kooaba (acquired by Qualcomm), Dacuda (acquired by Magic Leap), Sevensense Robotics (acquired by ABB), the unicorns GetYourGuide and Scandit, and many more.
Join the team’s introduction and virtual pitch session on February 19th, 2025, and follow the Venture Leaders Technology roadshow on social media using the hashtag #VLeadersTech or on www.venturelab.swiss/venture-leaders-technology from April 6th to April 11th, 2025. The Venture Leaders Technology 2025 program is organized by Venturelab and supported by DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, Unicorn Anchor, and the Canton of Vaud.
