This November, ten entrepreneurs chosen for the Swiss National Cleantech Startup Team 2025 will travel to Munich to showcase their innovations. The week will focus on pitching, meeting investors and industry experts, and exploring opportunities for international growth. Before the trip, the founders met at EPFL for a relaxed kick-off, where they introduced their startups through short pitch sessions.
The Venture Leaders Cleantech kick-off event, held on August 27 at EPFL, gave 10 selected startups an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences from their entrepreneurial journeys, and present their Cleantech solutions. The session concluded with a vote to elect the team captains: Estelle Clerc from Cellx and Murielle Schreck from qCella.

Swiss Cleantech startups continue to show resilience, raising substantial funding in the first half of 2025. This capital is helping them make the most of lower raw material costs and move their technologies forward, positioning them as key players in sustainable technology.
In November, the ten founders will continue their roadshow in Munich, an important step in expanding their startups internationally.
Venture Leaders Cleantech is organized by Venturelab and supported by EPFL, ETH Zurich, Helbling Technik, Rentsch Partner, Canton of Vaud, Vischer and Canton of Zurich.
