Venture Leaders Technology 2024 set off on international roadshow with Silicon Valley kick-off

In early April, the ten Venture Leaders Technology 2024 will pitch their solutions in Silicon Valley: During their weeklong business development roadshow, the entrepreneurs will meet investors, experts, and industry leaders to strengthen their network and advance their global growth. To get to know each other and prepare for the trip, the entrepreneurs met in Schlieren on February 22 and presented their innovations to the public at a virtual pitch event.

The Venture Leaders Technology 2024 were chosen from over 200 applications by a jury of investors and technology experts. The roadshow in Silicon Valley, one of the world's most important tech hubs, provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their startups' expansion in the US while expanding their professional network and profiting from workshops with investors and industry leaders.

During the kick-off on February 22, the Venture Leaders met face-to-face for the first time: The group learned more about each other’s innovations, talked about their expectations, and polished their pitches for Silicon Valley. The Venture Leaders shared their startup journeys with an inspiring three-minute public pitching session, each presenting their innovative solution to a virtual audience, which had the opportunity to cast its votes to select the team captain: Roberto Iannone, CEO and Founder of Zoundream.

The kick-off also gave space to advice from industry experts such as Dario Silberschmidt, Partner at Kellerhals Carrard, who provided insights about the legal aspects of fundraising, and Robert Skrobak, Director at Rothschild & Co., who gave a pitch preparation workshop tailored to US investors and market experts.



This year's Venture Leaders Technology is organized by Venturelab and supported by DPD, EPFL, ETH Zurich, Helbling Technik, Kellerhals Carrard, Rothschild & Co, Unicorn Anchor, and the Canton of Vaud.
