Verretex secures CHF 1.2M to advance circular glass fiber textiles

The Swiss cleantech startup Verretex has raised CHF 1.2 million in dilutive and non-dilutive funding to scale its regenerated glass fiber technology and expand industrial adoption.

Glass fiber composites are widely used in construction, mobility, and energy, yet most end-of-life materials are still landfilled or incinerated due to the complexity of recycling. As sustainability requirements tighten, demand for circular alternatives is increasing across industrial value chains.

In this context, Verretex secured CHF 1.2 million in dilutive and non-dilutive funding to accelerate the adoption of its circular glass fiber textiles. The company, a Venture Leaders participant, ranked among the Top100 Swiss Startups, and backed by Venture Kick, will use the capital to scale operations and expand into broader markets.

The funding supports Verretex’s objective to convert complex glass fiber waste into high-performance textile materials. It also reflects continued investor backing for sustainable material technologies emerging from the Swiss startup ecosystem.
