The Venture Leaders Medtech have a clear-cut goal: The ambitious entrepreneurs want to take the first steps toward their international expansion. The week-long investor and business development roadshow to the Boston area allows for a deep dive into the global medtech scene and includes public and private pitch sessions, high-level networking opportunities, company visits, and individual business development activities.

Who can apply to become a Venture Leader Mobile 2022:

• Founding and managing members of Switzerland-based medtech startups
• Medtech startups that are fundraising and ready to grow business in the US with international investors
• Entrepreneurs who are building a global medtech startup with first market validation

The admission process and program itinerary: 

• March 13, 2022: Final date for submission of applications
• March 24, 2022: Personal presentation by the best 20 applicants in front of the jury in Lausanne
• April 28, 2022: Kick-off event presenting the Venture Leaders, including a pitching session
• June 19-23, 2022: Roadshow to the US and deep-five into Boston’s entrepreneurial scene
• Late 2022: Graduation ceremony in Switzerland

 

The Venture Leaders Medtech 2021 in Boston 

Venture Leaders Medtech is organized by Venturelab. The program has a value of CHF 10,000 is offered free of charge to the winners—thanks to the support of EPF Lausanne, ETH Zurich, Hansjörg Wyss, Kellerhals Carrard, Paul Scherrer Institut, Swissnex in Boston, Canton Vaud, and Canton Zurich.
