First Venturelab Trophy set Sails in Barcelona

04.03.2020 13:34 Guillaume Tinsel

The new Venturelab Trophy set its first sails in Barcelona. Designed to connect world-class startups and international investors, it expands the work done by the Venture Leaders platform which is celebrating its 15 years in 2020.

Investors and Startups joined two boats for a Match Race, offering them action-packed time on this Formula 1 of the sea, such as Vischer's Kajsa III. These exceptional setting offered a unique opportunity to establish new relations, allowing entrepreneurs to pitch their startups while competing, supported by the Venturelab and program partners who joined the crews.

"To be successful in a sailing competition, you need to combine an incredible number of factors to excel in given weather and wind conditions. This is a very good training ground for entrepreneurs." said Dr Rolf Auf der Maur, Attorney of Law by Vischer, appearing in the picture below.

The Swiss National Startup Team's roadshow with the Venture Leaders Mobile was organized by Venturelab and made possible thanks to the cooperation of our partners.
