The Venture Leaders Fintech 2022 kick off their roadshow to London

In late November, the ten Venture Leaders Fintech 2022 chosen to represent the Swiss National Startup Team will pitch their innovations in London. During the weeklong roadshow, the entrepreneurs will meet with investors, experts, and industry leaders to strengthen their network and advance their global growth. To introduce themselves and their startups, the founders met in Zurich and showcased their innovations at an online pitch session.

Last Wednesday, the Venture Leaders Fintech 2022 had the opportunity to meet and share their startup journeys at the kick-off event. The Venture Leaders also pitched their unique fintech innovations to a virtual audience. The audience also voted for a team captain, electing Oliver Zemp, founder and CEO of ZEMP Business Solutions.

Venture Leaders Fintech is a unique business development program that takes entrepreneurs to London to facilitate access to the international market. Among other things, this year's roadshow will take the entrepreneurs to the Fintech Connect expo, which showcases the dynamic heart of the fintech ecosystem in Europe.

Venturelab has organized international roadshows for the Swiss National Startup Team for 18 years. The ambitious entrepreneurs and their promising startups selected to participate in the program are introduced to leading experts, investors, and potential customers in technology hubs around the world, including Silicon Valley, Boston, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Barcelona, and London.

Swiss fintech startups attracted close to CHF 755 million in investments in the first three quarters of 2022, signaling great potential for growth and global expansion to the sector’s leaders.
