The Venture Leaders Fintech 2022 roadshow brought ten Swiss entrepreneurs to London, where they connected with investors and market experts and presented their pitches at the Fintech Connect trade show. The innovators benefited from an accelerated learning curve concerning innovation and business development and were able to bolster their international network.

Venturelab has been organizing international roadshows for the Swiss National Startup Teams for 18 years. The ambitious entrepreneurs are chosen by a panel of experts to join the team as so-called Venture Leaders. They are introduced to investors and potential customers in leading technology hubs such as Silicon Valley, Boston, China, Hong Kong, Barcelona, London, and Munich.
For the fifth edition of the Venture Leaders Fintech roadshow, ten fintech innovators were chosen to represent Swiss excellence at various networking and pitch events in London, including at Fintech Connect, the premier conference at the heart of one of the most dynamic entrepreneurship ecosystems in Europe.
On Monday, the Venture Leaders attended an introductory session hosted by organizing partner Swissnex, at the Department of International Trade (DIT) at the Swiss Embassy. This was followed by a pitch session with the Teachers Venture Growth (TVG).
The next day, Venture Leaders presented their pitches to VCs and had the opportunity to network at a breakfast event sponsored by Forestay Capital. Over lunch, Venture Leaders were able to profit from one-on-one meetings with corporate representatives. Later in the day, they were invited to a Networking and Pitching Reception at the Swiss Embassy with special speaker Amit Das, CEO of Alpha Events, organizer of Fintech Connect.
