A panel of investors and industry experts has selected ten innovative Swiss fintech startups to join the Swiss National Startup Team. These companies will take part in the Venture Leaders Fintech program, a unique opportunity to expand their networks and business knowledge during a roadshow in London this November. The program, designed to boost international growth, is organized by Venturelab and Swissnex, supported by EPFL, ETH Zürich, PostFinance, and Walder Wyss.
Since 2006, Venturelab has been selecting the Swiss National Startup Team. Through its Venture Leaders roadshows, entrepreneurs engage with top experts, investors, and potential customers in leading global tech hubs such as Silicon Valley, Boston, Asia, Barcelona, Munich, and London.
A jury of investors and fintech experts handpicked ten startups to participate in the 2025 Venture Leaders Fintech roadshow in London. The roadshow provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to accelerate their startups' development while expanding their professional network and profiting from pitch sessions with investors and workshops with industry leaders.
The Venture Leaders program highlights Switzerland’s strong presence in the global fintech startup scene. The ten selected startups showcase the country’s leadership in a wide array of fields, from transforming options trading, wealth management, and AI risk governance to reimagining insurance (pet, weather, claims), blockchain investigations, regulatory compliance, and ultra-secure data management.
"The startups in the Venture Leaders Fintech program are doing impressive work, and the London roadshow is a key step forward to showcase Swiss innovation globally," highlights Stefan Steiner, Co-Managing Director at Venturelab. " The week with the Venture Leaders was an amazing opportunity to present our startup GenTwo in front of investors and dive into the London ecosystem," highlighted Philippe Naegeli, CEO and Co-Founder GenTwo and Venture Leader Fintech 2023.
This year's Venture Leaders Fintech entrepreneurs join an impressive group of Fintech alumni including high-flying startups such as Crypto Finance (acquired by Deutsche Börse), eCollect (acquired by Intrum), Imburse (acquired by Duck Creek Technologies), Qumram (acquired by Dynatrace), Lend, Sonect, TP24, Wyden, and many more.
