18.09.2025 11:24 Rita Longobardi

In November, the ten entrepreneurs selected to represent the Swiss National Fintech Startup Team 2025 will fly to London to pitch their innovations. During their weeklong roadshow, the Venture Leaders Fintech will meet with investors, experts, and industry leaders to strengthen their network and advance global growth. To get to know each other and prepare for the trip, the founders met at the startup space and introduced their ventures.

The Venture Leaders Fintech 2025 were chosen by a jury of investors and fintech experts and will travel to the one of the world’s top fintech hubs to accelerate their UK market entry. The program offers direct exposure to investors, networking opportunities, and hands-on workshops designed to refine their approach to scaling internationally. Ahead of their London roadshow, the ten entrepreneurs gathered in Zurich to meet each other, share insights about their innovations, and fine-tune their pitches for the upcoming roadshow.

The 10 new members of the Swiss National Fintech Team introduced their ventures during the webinar: State of Fintech in Switzerland 2025, to give a first look at what they'll be bringing to London. Former Venture Leaders Fintech participant Philippe A. Naegeli, Co-Founder and CEO of GenTwo, shared his top ten entrepreneurial learnings and his experience with the Venture Leaders program in 2023 in his keynote speech. The webinar attendees voted for the team captain and selected Patrik Schär, CEO of Selma.

As members of the Swiss National Startup Team, the founders are united by a shared ambition to grow their companies beyond Switzerland. Based on the Top100 Swiss Startup Ranking, 5% of Switzerland's most promising startups are fintech startups.

During the kick-off, Walder Wyss hosted a legal workshop for the participating startups, providing practical guidance on topics ranging from intellectual property to contract essentials.

Venture Leaders Fintech is organized by Venturelab and Swissnex, supported by EPFLETH ZurichPostFinance, and Walder Wyss.
