Venture Leader Mobile Manu Nair's Startup Synthara About Increased Efficiency in AI And MWC Barcelona 2020

Synthara is a Zurich-based artificial intelligence (AI) company that provides system-level solutions for businesses to enhance their products or services with smart features. We sat down with co-founder Manu Nair to discuss what he hopes to achieve thanks to the Venture Leaders Mobile program in February and how Synthara is changing the Mobile industry.

How is Synthara changing the Mobile industry?
AI-capabilities on battery-operated devices such as AR/VR, drones, bio-medical or wearable devices are limited by the performance of their chips. Synthara's AI chips are 10-100x more powerful than popular solutions operating on the same energy resource. This will enable the creation of new devices with more sophisticated capabilities and battery life. This promises a new breed of smarter edge-computing applications and devices.

How important is it to be in Barcelona at the MWC?
The Mobile World Congress brings together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology. Being present during the MWC will therefore allow us to accelerate our entry to the market by putting us in contact with key actors in the industry.

What do you hope to achieve from the Venture Leaders Mobile 2020 roadshow?
As part of the Swiss National Startup Team and Venture Leaders Mobile program, we hope to network and establish contacts with investors, potential partners and customers. As we are currently raising funds this is a great opportunity for us to showcase ourselves on the international scene.
